19 National schedule of demerit points (1) An offence for which demerit points are prescribed is a national schedule offence if the text ‘(NS)’ appears in schedule 1, column 6 of the item applying to the offence. (2) For the Road Transport (Driver Licensing) Act 1999, dictionary, definition of national schedule of demerit points, the national schedule offences, and the number of demerit points incurred for each national schedule offence, are the national schedule of demerit points.
