#### 79 Application of the Act, Part 6.2 79 Application of the Act, Part 6.2 > For the purposes of the Act, section 161(1), the following vehicles are prescribed as vehicles to which the Act, Part 6.2 applies— > > > (a) a motor lorry, excluding a lorry to which the [Heavy Vehicle (Vehicle Standards) National Regulation (NSW)](/view/html/inforce/current/sl-2013-248a), Schedule 2, Part 10 applies— > > > > > (i) manufactured on or after 1 January 1988, and > > > > > (ii) having a GVM exceeding 15 tonnes, or > > > (b) a bus, excluding a bus to which the [Heavy Vehicle (Vehicle Standards) National Regulation (NSW)](/view/html/inforce/current/sl-2013-248a), Schedule 2, Part 10 applies— > > > > > (i) manufactured on or after 1 January 1988, and > > > > > (ii) having a GVM exceeding 14.5 tonnes, and > > > > > (iii) used to provide a public passenger service, or > > > (c) a motor lorry— > > > > > (i) manufactured on or after 1 January 1991, and > > > > > (ii) having a GVM exceeding 12 tonnes, or > > > (d) a bus— > > > > > (i) manufactured on or after 1 January 1991, and > > > > > (ii) having a GVM exceeding 5 tonnes, and > > > > > (iii) used to provide a public passenger service.
