> > (1) A person must not cause or permit a motor vehicle to be driven on a road that has exhibited on the rear of the vehicle, or on the rear of a trailer attached to the vehicle, a *do not overtake turning vehicle sign* unless the vehicle is, or the vehicle and trailer together are, 7.5 metres long or longer.

> > Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.

> > The [Road Rules 2014](/view/html/inforce/current/sl-2014-0758), rule 316–2 provides a driver must not drive a motor vehicle if a *do not overtake turning vehicle sign* is displayed on the rear of the vehicle or on the rear of a trailer attached to the vehicle unless the vehicle is, or the vehicle and trailer together are, 7.5 metres long or longer.
