#### 26 Devices prescribed for the purposes of the Act s 121 26 Devices prescribed for the purposes of the Act s 121 > > (1) For the purposes of the Act, section 121, definition of prescribed traffic control device, the following traffic control devices are prescribed— > > > > > (a) a traffic control device of a kind mentioned in the [Road Rules 2014](/view/html/inforce/current/sl-2014-0758) having effect for the Rules under the Rules, rule 315, > > > > > > Note. > > > > > > See also the [Road Rules 2014](/view/html/inforce/current/sl-2014-0758), rules 316–318. > > > > > (b) a word, figure, symbol or anything else used on or with a traffic control device referred to in paragraph (a). > > > (2) In this section— > > > > traffic control device has the same meaning as in the [Road Rules 2014](/view/html/inforce/current/sl-2014-0758). > > > > Note. > > > > The [Road Rules 2014](/view/html/inforce/current/sl-2014-0758) define traffic control devices to mean traffic signs, road markings, traffic signals, or other devices, to direct or warn traffic on, entering or leaving a road.
