8 Delegation of road transport authority’s functions For the Act, section 17 (1) (c), the road transport authority may delegate the authority’s functions to issue permits under the Road Transport (Safety and Traffic Management) Regulation 2017, section 64 (2) (g) (Parking permits) to the Secretary of the Commonwealth Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
