13Driver licence receipts

13 Driver licence receipts (1) The road transport authority may issue a driver licence receipt to a person as an interim measure until the driver licence to which the receipt relates is issued to the person. (2) However, subsection (1) does not limit the circumstances in which the road transport authority may issue a driver licence receipt. (3) A driver licence receipt ceases to be in force on the earlier of the (a) the expiry date indicated on the receipt; (b) the day the person receives the licence for which the receipt was issued.
