50 Use of registered recreation motor cycles A recreation motor cycle that is a registered vehicle must only be used— (a) on highways that are— (i) located outside built-up areas, as defined by speed zones of less than 100 kilometres per hour; and (ii) not declared as freeways or arterial roads under the **Road Management Act 2004**; or (b) in an area that is not a road solely for the training and assessment of a holder of a motor cycle learner permit by an organisation approved by the Secretary for that purpose.
