85P Effect of later cancellation or suspension of licence or permit If on the hearing of the charge against a person whose driver licence or learner permit has been suspended under this Part because of the charge— (a) the driver licence or learner permit is cancelled and the person is disqualified from obtaining one for a specified time, the court must take into account, in fixing the period of disqualification, the period of suspension under this Part; or (b) the driver licence or learner permit is suspended, the court must take into account, in fixing the period of that suspension, the period of suspension under this Part.
