134 Authority to run vehicle's engine (1) Section 133 does not authorise an inspector to direct a person to drive a vehicle. (2) If a person fails to comply with a direction under section 133 to run the engine of a heavy vehicle, or no responsible person is available to do so, an inspector may— (a) enter the vehicle and run its engine; or (b) authorise any other person to do so. S. 134(3) amended by No. 37/2014 s. 10(Sch. item 147.52). (3) A police officer or a person authorised by a police officer may use reasonable force in the exercise of a power under subsection (2).
