106A Application of Commonwealth Acts Interpretation Act 1901 (1) The Acts Interpretation Act 1901 of the Commonwealth applies to the interpretation of this Part, except that, in relation to Victoria— (a) "Gazette" refers to the Victorian Government Gazette; and (b) "Minister" refers to the responsible Minister of Victoria. (2) This section does not prevent the **Interpretation of Legislation Act 1984** from applying to this Part to the extent that it can do so consistently with the application of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901 of the Commonwealth.
