103A Transitional provisions—Road Safety (Further Amendment) Act 2001 (1) The amendment of section 22(2)(a) made by section 11 of the **Road Safety (Further Amendment) Act 2001** has effect only with respect to learner permits granted after the commencement of that section of that Act. (2) The amendment of section 50(1AB)(b) made bysection 14 of the **Road Safety (Further Amendment) Act 2001** applies only to offences alleged to have been committed on or after the commencement of that section of that Act. (3) For the purposes of subsection (2), if an offence is alleged to have been committed between two dates, one before and one after the commencement of section 14 of the **Road Safety (Further Amendment) Act 2001**, the offence is alleged to have been committed before the commencement of that section. (4) The amendment of section 89C(1) made by section 25 of the **Road Safety (Further Amendment) Act 2001** applies to any traffic infringement notice issued in respect of a drink‑driving infringement on or after the commencement of that section of that Act, irrespective of when the infringement was committed.
