Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Act authorises closing a specific portion of Mount Street in the City of Perth by proclamation, extinguishing all rights of way over that strip and revesting the land in the Crown so it can be disposed of as the Governor approves. It also removes that parcel from the Transfer of Land Act, altering how title and disposal are handled. The Governor decides disposal; nearby private interests may be affected; administrative steps are limited to the closure proclamation and Crown disposal process.
