#### 8 Proclamation for first election of board 8 Proclamation for first election of board > > (1) If more than one-half of the enrolled producers are, at a poll referred to in section 7 (1), in favour of the constitution of a board, the Governor may, by proclamation, direct that an election shall be held for the election of a specified number of representatives of producers of the relevant primary product to be members of the board. > > > (2) If more than one-half of the producers respectively enrolled for all the relevant primary products are, at a poll referred to in section 7 (2), in favour of the constitution of a board, the Governor may, by proclamation, direct that an election shall be held for the election of a specified number of representatives of producers of all those products to be members of the board. > > > (3) If more than one-half of the producers respectively enrolled for all or some of the relevant primary products are, at a poll referred to in section 7 (3), in favour of the constitution of a board, the Governor may, by proclamation, direct that an election shall be held for the election of a specified number of representatives of producers of those products to be members of the board. > > > (4) The number of representatives to be specified in a proclamation under this section shall be 2, 3, 4 or 5.
