#### 157 Offences by corporations 157 Offences by corporations > > (1) If a corporation contravenes, whether by act or omission, section 152 (2), each person who is a director of the corporation, or who is concerned in the management of the corporation, is taken to have contravened the same provision if the person knowingly authorised or permitted the contravention. > > > (2) A person may be proceeded against and convicted pursuant to subsection (1) whether or not the corporation has been proceeded against or been convicted. > > > (3) Nothing in subsection (1) prejudices or affects any liability imposed by a provision of this Act or the regulations on any corporation by which an offence is actually committed. > > > (4) This section does not apply to or in respect of an authority. > > **s 157:** Am 2011 No 2, Sch 1.32.
