63 Membership of Residents Committee—the Act, s 70A

63 Membership of Residents Committee—the Act, s 70A

(1) For the Act, section 70A(1), a person may hold the same office on the Residents Committee of a retirement village for more than 3 consecutive years if—

(a) the person is the only person standing for election to the office, or

(b) the residents of the retirement village, by special resolution, consent to the person standing for election to the office.

(2) In this section—

office means the office of chairperson, secretary or treasurer.
