17 Certain persons not to be involved in management of retirement villages
(1) A person who is an insolvent under administration must not be involved in the promotion or sale of residence rights or be in any way (whether directly or indirectly) concerned in, or take part in, the management of a retirement village.
(2) A person who, whether before or after the commencement of this section, has been convicted, within or outside Victoria, of an offence involving fraud or dishonesty punishable on conviction by imprisonment for a period of not less than 3 months must not within a period of 5 years after being convicted or if the person was sentenced to imprisonment after the expiration of the sentence, be involved in the promotion or sale of residence rights, or be in any way (whether directly or indirectly) concerned in, or take part in, the management
of a retirement village.
