#### 21 Special rent—cost of fitout 21 Special rent—cost of fitout > Nothing in this Act prevents a retail shop lease from providing for the payment of a special rent (in addition to any other rent) to cover the cost of fitout, fixtures, fittings and equipment installed or provided by the lessor at the lessor’s expense.
