sec.49 Qualifications for appointment
To be appointed as the commissioner, a person must have— a professional qualification relevant to the resources industry, and professional experience in safety and health in the resources sector; or professional experience in senior operational positions relating to the management of safety and health in the resources sector, and demonstrated competence in the management of safety and health in the resources sector.
