sec.46 Acting executive officer
The Minister may appoint a person to act as executive officer— during a vacancy in the office; or during any period, or during all periods, when the executive officer is absent from duty or from the State or is, for another reason, unable to perform the duties of the office. The acting executive officer is appointed under this Act and not the Public Sector Act 2022 . s 46 amd 2022 No. 34 s 365 sch 3 (sec.46-ssec.1) The Minister may appoint a person to act as executive officer— during a vacancy in the office; or during any period, or during all periods, when the executive officer is absent from duty or from the State or is, for another reason, unable to perform the duties of the office. (sec.46-ssec.2) The acting executive officer is appointed under this Act and not the Public Sector Act 2022 .
