47 Part‑time special Commissioner taken to be full‑time

Where: (a) a special Commissioner has been appointed on a part‑time basis; and (b) the Chairperson becomes satisfied that the Commissioner will not be able to perform the functions of Commissioner during a period otherwise than on a full‑time basis; the Chairperson shall, in writing specifying the period, direct that, for the purposes of paragraph 45(5)(b) and sections 48 and 49, the Commissioner shall be taken to have been appointed on a full‑time basis for that period.
