26 Hearings by Commission
(1) The Commission shall hold such hearing or hearings as the Chairperson thinks necessary for the purposes of an inquiry. (2) Before the Commission begins hearings for the purposes of an inquiry, the Commission shall give reasonable notice in each State and inhabited external Territory, by advertisement in a newspaper circulating generally in the State or Territory, of: (a) the hearings; (b) the subject of the hearings; and (c) the time and place at which the hearings are to begin.
