Part 1—Preliminary 1—Short title These regulations may be cited as the Residential Tenancies Regulations 2025. 2—Commencement These regulations come into operation on 1 September 2025. 3—Interpretation In these regulations— Act means the Residential Tenancies Act 1995; property manager has the same meaning as in the Land Agents Act 1994; registered agent means a person registered as an agent under the Land Agents Act 1994; sales agency agreement has the same meaning as in the Land and Business (Sale and Conveyancing) Act 1994.
