83 Fixed term tenancy becomes periodic if not terminated A fixed tenancy agreement continues to apply to the premises on the same terms on which it applied immediately before the day the term ends, but as a periodic tenancy, if: (a) the tenancy agreement does not provide for the continuance of the tenancy after the day the term ends; and (b) a notice of intention to terminate has not been given under this Act in relation to the premises; and Residential Tenancies Act 1999 55 (c) the tenant remains in occupation of the premises after the day the term ends.
