160 Continued application of Tenancy Act (1) Subject to this Part and section 88A, nothing in this Act applies to or in relation to a lease that was in force immediately before the commencement day. (2) Subject to this Part, the Tenancy Act continues to apply to and in relation to a lease that was in force immediately before the commencement day as if the amendments to the Tenancy Act effected by the Residential Tenancies (Consequential Amendments) Act 1999 had never come into operation. Residential Tenancies Act 1999 100 (3) Subject to this Part, a reference in the Tenancy Act to the Commissioner is, in relation to a lease, to be taken to be a reference to the Commissioner within the meaning of this Act.
