140Transitional accommodation

140 Transitional accommodation (1) The CEO (Housing) must offer the tenant or occupier of the premises, without charge, transitional accommodation from the time of vacant possession of the premises until the renovated premises or new premises is available. (2) If the tenant or occupier of the premises accepts the transitional accommodation, the CEO (Housing) must offer to enter into an agreement regarding the terms of that accommodation. (3) Despite any provision to the contrary, an agreement referred to in subsection (2) is not a tenancy agreement and is not subject to this Act.
