115 Claims on behalf of co-tenants (1) A tenant who is authorised in writing to do so by another tenant under the same tenancy agreement (in this section called a co-tenant) may claim that co-tenant's proportion of the security deposit on that co-tenant's behalf. (2) A landlord must return to a tenant authorised by a co-tenant under subsection (1) the proportion of the security deposit the co-tenant is entitled to have returned to him or her.
