56 Compensation to lessor
If a person to whom a termination and possession order is directed
fails to vacate the specified premises in accordance with the order, the
ACAT may, on application made within 4 weeks after the date when
the person was to vacate the premises, order the person to pay to the
applicant such of the following as it considers appropriate:
(a) an amount equal to the rent that would have been payable to the
applicant if the premises had been tenanted during the period for
which the person was in possession of the premises after
termination of the residential tenancy agreement;
(b) an amount equal to the reasonable costs incurred by the
applicant in applying for a warrant for eviction and having the
warrant executed.
