#### 54 Rules of conduct for operators 54 Rules of conduct for operators > > (1) The rules of conduct in Schedule 1 are to be observed by the operator of a community in the course of the carrying on of business or the exercise of functions as operator. > > > (2) The regulations may prescribe additional rules of conduct. > > > (3) The operator of a community who, without reasonable excuse, contravenes a rule of conduct in Schedule 1 or prescribed by the regulations is guilty of an offence. > > > > Maximum penalty— > > > > > (a) in the case of a corporation—100 penalty units, or > > > > > (b) in any other case—50 penalty units.
