#### 30 No fees or charges payable before entry 30 No fees or charges payable before entry > > (1) The operator of a community, or a person acting on the operator’s behalf, must not request, demand or receive any fee or charge from a prospective home owner before entering into a site agreement with the prospective home owner. > > > > Maximum penalty—20 penalty units. > > > (2) Subsection (1) does not apply to a fee or charge payable to the operator by the prospective home owner as a deposit to build or provide a home on the residential site under a separate agreement.
