#### 22 Approved information for prospective home owners 22 Approved information for prospective home owners > > (1) The Commissioner may approve the content and form of information that the operator of a community must provide to a prospective home owner or a person acting on behalf of a prospective home owner. > > > (2) The operator of a community must not, without reasonable excuse, fail to provide the information in the approved form at or before the time the disclosure statement is provided in accordance with section 21. > > > > Maximum penalty—10 penalty units. > > > (3) Without limiting subsection (1), the approved information may relate to any of the following— > > > > > (a) residential communities generally, > > > > > (b) the rights and responsibilities of home owners in residential communities, > > > > > (c) a checklist for prospective home owners to consider before buying a home, > > > > > (d) contact details to obtain information and advice.
