#### 171 Complaints and action under this Division 171 Complaints and action under this Division > > (1) Any person may make a complaint to the Commissioner setting out matters that are alleged to constitute grounds for taking disciplinary action against a person under this Division. > > > (2) Action can be taken under this Division whether or not a complaint has been made. > > > (3) The Commissioner may conduct inquiries and make investigations in relation to either or both of the following— > > > > > (a) the subject matter of a complaint, > > > > > (b) the submissions (if any) made by or on behalf of the person to whom a show cause notice under this Division relates. > > > (4) The Commissioner may decide to take no further action in relation to the subject matter of a complaint at any stage.
