#### 169 Receivers and managers 169 Receivers and managers > > (1) If a receiver, or a receiver and manager, is appointed in respect of a community, the person so appointed must (subject to the terms of the appointment) comply with the operator’s obligations under this Act as if the person were the operator. > > > (2) This section does not apply to the extent that it is inconsistent with the [Corporations Act 2001](http://www.legislation.gov.au/) of the Commonwealth.
