#### 163 Functions of Commissioner 163 Functions of Commissioner > > (1) The Commissioner has the following functions under this Act— > > > > > (a) to investigate and carry out research into matters relating to or affecting residential communities, > > > > > (b) to investigate suspected contraventions of this Act or the regulations and to take appropriate action to enforce this Act or the regulations, > > > > > (c) to investigate and report on any matters, or make inquiries into any matters, referred to the Commissioner by the Minister in connection with this Act or the regulations, > > > > > (d) to provide information to the public about this Act and services provided under this Act by NSW Fair Trading, the Tribunal and other persons and the mediation services provided under this Act for the mediation of disputes, > > > > > (e) any other function conferred or imposed by or under this Act on the Commissioner. > > > (2) The Commissioner may delegate to a person any of the Commissioner’s functions under this Act, other than this power of delegation.
