#### 17 Presumptions in relation to artist
If a mark or name purporting to identify a person as an artist of an artwork appears on the artwork, then the presence of the mark or name is taken to be prima facie evidence for the purposes of this Act that:
(a) in a case where there is no other such mark or name on the artwork—the person is the artist of the artwork; and
(b) in a case where there is another such mark or name on the artwork—the person is one of the artists of the artwork.
