#### 628 Electricity baseline for product The electricity baseline for calculating the amount of a liable entity’s exemption in respect of aluminium smelting is 15.0 MWh per tonne of primary aluminium (Al) that: (a) has a concentration of aluminium equal to or greater than 98%; and (b) is produced as part of carrying on the emissions‑intensive trade‑exposed activity; and (c) is weighed after electrolysis but before casting.
