8.1 Despite the repeal of Determination 2017/23 by this Determination, a thing that was taken to have been done under or for the purposes of a provision of that Determination by Part 8 of that Determination, and that was still in effect immediately before the commencement of this Determination, is taken to have been done under or for the purposes of the same provision of this Determination.

8.2 The repeal of Part 7 by the Remuneration Tribunal (Members of Parliament) Amendment Determination (No. 1) 2019 takes effect on the day the Parliamentary Business Resources Amendment (2019 Measures No. 1) Regulations 2019 commence.
