#### 9 Resignation and removal from office (1) A member may resign his or her office by writing signed by him or her and delivered to the Governor‑General. (2) The Governor‑General may remove a member from office for misbehaviour or physical or mental incapacity. (3) A member ceases to hold office if he or she becomes a person mentioned in subsection 4(4).
