### 17 When does revocation take place?
> At the expiry of 90 days from the date of lodgment of the application, the Registrar must revoke the deed of relationship unless –

> > > (a) the application is withdrawn under [section 16(4)](#GS16@Gs4@EN) ; or
> >
> > > (b) a court directs otherwise.
