10 Applications for registration
(1) Where: (a) a person has, whether before or after the commencement of this Act, died otherwise than in circumstances mentioned in paragraph 9(1)(a); and (b) another person has reason to believe that the death may be registered under this Act; that other person may make an application to the Registrar for the registration under this Act of the death. (2) Where: (a) a person has, whether before or after the commencement of this Act, disappeared as mentioned in paragraph 9(1)(a); and (b) another person has reason to believe that: (i) the Registrar would be satisfied beyond reasonable doubt that the person who disappeared has died; and (ii) the death of the person who disappeared may be registered under this Act; that other person may make an application to the Registrar for the registration under this Act of the death.
