#### 33A Secretary or manager of club prohibited from holding hotel licence 33A Secretary or manager of club prohibited from holding hotel licence > > (1) A person who is the secretary of a registered club or the manager (within the meaning of the [Liquor Act 2007](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2007-090)) of the premises of a registered club must not— > > > > > (a) hold a hotel licence under the [Liquor Act 2007](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2007-090), or > > > > > (b) acquire any financial interest in respect of a hotel. > > > > Maximum penalty—100 penalty units. > > > (2) Subsection (1) does not apply to or in respect of a hotel licence or a financial interest in a hotel granted to or acquired by the person concerned before the commencement of this section. > > **s 33A:** Ins 2001 No 127, Sch 3 \[22\].
