97 Statement by Australian Electoral Officers
Each Australian Electoral Officer for a State or Territory shall: (a) prepare a written statement showing, in relation to the State or Territory, as the case may be: (i) the number of votes given in favour of the proposed law; (ii) the number of votes given not in favour of the proposed law; and (iii) the number of ballot papers rejected as informal; (b) sign the statement; and (c) send the statement to the Electoral Commissioner.
