#### 73CR Forwarding of ballot‑boxes for purposes of scrutiny (1) Subject to any directions under subsection (2), at the close of the poll, a voting officer must, with the least possible delay, forward each sealed pre‑poll ordinary ballot‑box for the purposes of scrutiny. (2) The DRO for the Division in which the place is located may direct that one or more sealed pre‑poll ordinary ballot‑boxes at the place are to be forwarded, for the purposes of scrutiny, before the close of the poll. (3) If a direction made under subsection (2) is in writing, the direction is not a legislative instrument.
