#### 13 Action by Electoral Commissioner The Electoral Commissioner shall, immediately after receiving a writ for a referendum: (a) advise each Australian Electoral Officer of the particulars of the writ; and (b) cause to be published in the Gazette a notice setting out the particulars of the writ and a copy of the proposed law or of the statement (if any) attached to the writ.
