#### 169 Hindering compliance with this Act etc. (1) A person must not engage in conduct that hinders or prevents another person from: (a) performing functions or exercising powers under this Act; or (b) complying with this Act or a direction given under this Act. Fault‑based offence (2) A person commits an offence if the person contravenes subsection (1). Penalty: Imprisonment for 5 years or 300 penalty units, or both. Civil penalty provision (3) A person is liable to a civil penalty if the person contravenes subsection (1). Civil penalty: 600 penalty units.
