#### 96A Register to be publicly available 96A Register to be publicly available > > (1) The Register is a public register available to be searched— > > > > > (a) in the way approved or authorised by the Registrar-General, and > > > > > (b) at the prescribed times, and > > > > > (c) on payment of the fee prescribed for the search. > > > (2) A request for a search of the Register may be made to the Registrar-General in the approved form for the following— > > > > > (a) a computer folio certificate, > > > > > (b) a certificate containing the information kept for a folio under section 32(7), > > > > > (c) a copy or image of the following— > > > > > > > (i) a manual folio, > > > > > > > (ii) a dealing or instrument that has been registered or recorded or lodged for registration or recording, > > > > > > > (iii) a caveat or priority notice that has been recorded or lodged for recording, > > > > > > > (iv) another record required by the regulations to be kept as part of the Register. > > > (3) The information provided in response to a request must be authenticated in the way the Registrar-General considers appropriate. > > > (4) Without affecting any duty imposed by or under this Act, information in the Register may also be made available in accordance with the conditions determined by the Registrar-General and approved by the Minister. > > > (5) A condition under subsection (4) may— > > > > > (a) require the payment of fees and other charges, or > > > > > (b) restrict access to information in one or more parts of the Register. > > **s 96A:** Ins 1979 No 164, Sch 16.
