##### 5 Extension of certain provisions of Act to members of Dominion etc. Forces (1) The regulations may provide that persons resident in Australia who were, during the war, engaged on service in a prescribed area with the Naval, Military or Air Forces of a prescribed part of the King’s dominions other than Australia, of a prescribed foreign power allied or associated with His Majesty or of any prescribed foreign authority recognized by His Majesty as competent to maintain Naval, Military or Air Forces for service in association with His Majesty’s Forces, shall, for the purposes of such of the provisions of this Act (other than Division 2 of Part II and Division 1 of Part VI) as are specified in the regulations, be deemed to be discharged members of the Forces. (2) The regulations may amend, vary, limit or modify the application of any of the provisions of this Act in their application to persons referred to in the last preceding subsection.
