##### 143 Notice of date on which applicant will be available for employment (1) A member of the Forces making application under the last preceding section may specify in the application a date, not later than two months after the date of making the application, as the date upon which the applicant will be available for employment. (2) Where the applicant does not so specify a date, he shall, by notice in writing served personally or by post on the former employer, within the period of two months after the date on which the application was made, specify a date during that period as the date upon which the applicant will be available for employment.
