##### 14 Expiration and renewal of applications (1) An application which is still in force may be renewed from time to time by notice in writing served personally or by post on the former employer. (2) An application shall cease to have effect at the expiration of a period of three months after the date on which it was made or last renewed, as the case may be, or, if that period has been extended by a Reinstatement Committee in pursuance of section twenty-one of this Act, at the expiration of that extended period. (3) Whenever an application is renewed, the applicant shall specify in the notice a date, not later than two months after the date on which the application is renewed, as the date on which the applicant will be available for employment.
