sec.174 Offence to assault, threaten or intimidate rail safety officer
A person must not directly or indirectly assault, threaten or intimidate, or attempt to assault, threaten or intimidate, a rail safety officer or a person assisting a rail safety officer. Maximum penalty: in the case of an individual—$50 000 or imprisonment for 2 years, or both; in the case of a body corporate—$250 000.
- (a) in the case of an individual—$50 000 or imprisonment for 2 years, or both;
- (b) in the case of a body corporate—$250 000.
