sec.140 Functions and powers
A rail safety officer has the following functions and powers under this Law: to provide information and advice about compliance with this Law; to require compliance with this Law through the issuing of notices; to investigate contraventions of this Law and assist in the prosecution of offences; other functions or powers conferred by the national regulations.
